With the NBA season on the horizon and a COVID shortened off-season almost in the books, The Rafters squad comes at you with a deep dive into the Celtics 2020 draft picks to keep an eye out for. Boston had three first round picks and despite many rumors that those draft picks would be traded away, they kept the majority of them and drafted some young talent to get excited about this season. The most notable of those being Aaron Nesmith. Nesmith was widely considered the best shooter in the draft, Boston was able to nab him with the 14th overall pick. The additions didn’t stop there though. Danny Ainge addressed some serious needs for the team in free agency finally getting a competent, championship caliber big man in Tristan Thompson and bolstering the bench unit that was a glaring weakness all of last season.
