The Moment Celtic Fans Have Waited All-Season Long, the Playoffs
The Boston Celtics kick off their playoff this Sunday at 1pm against the Indiana Pacers, a team who lost their best player, Victor Oladipo, in the middle of the season.

Before the season started back in October, expectations were high for the Boston Celtics. They were the team that was favorite to represent the Eastern Conference in the final.
However, this team didn’t live up to expectations and finished as the four seed. They are currently the sixth best odds to win the finals. The Bucks and Raptors have higher odds of winning the finals over the Celtics.
Kyrie Irving has emphasized to the media and the fans that the regular season standings do not matter. Why? Because “I’m here” said Kyrie Irving.
Well it’s time to put up or shut up for the 27-year-old. He has raised his own expectations higher which a player of his caliber should do. Kyrie Irving has the ability to take over the game and lead his team to victory. The question will be does he want too.

It was reported earlier in the week that Marcus Smart will miss the first two rounds of the post- season with a torn oblique. So, without Marcus Smart for potentially the first two rounds, someone other than Kyrie is going to have to step up. However, this team is known for its depth and has plenty of guys that can fill that role of the gritty Smart.
I am excited for this post-season, lots of great story lines, but the Celtics have a couple that are quite intriguing. Kyrie Irving and Gordon Haywards first post-season as Celtics. Will this be the only post-season Kyrie Irving wears a Celtic Jersey, will this team overcome a roller coaster of a season, and make a deep run in the playoffs. It’s the best time of year as NBA fans, let the journey begin.
