The Daily (1/31/21)
Welcome back to another edition of the daily. Today will be the last edition for the month of January as tomorrow is the first day of February. We have had a great week and we are looking to end the week on a good note today. We have a good slate of games in the NBA, NHL, and College Basketball as well. As of tomorrow I will be implementing a new system in how I make my picks. It is something that you are not going to want to miss, and something you are going to want to stay tuned for. With that being said here are my daily picks for the last day in January.
This Week’s Record: 40-34-1 (+7.18 units)
NBA: 13-8 (+6.06 units)
Utah vs Denver
The Utah Jazz are the hottest team in basketball at the very moment. Tonight they take their eleven game winning streak to Denver to try and make it twelve straight. I thought their winning streak was going to be over on Friday night against Dallas and they absolutely wiped the floor with them. Utah is currently 15-4 on the season and they are 14-5 against the spread. Denver is currently 11-8 with a 9-10 record against the spread. The Nuggets as of late though have had Utah’s number and will be looking to see the trend continue.
These two teams met two weeks ago and Denver gave them their closest game that they have had in quite some time. This time around the Jazz might not have Donovan Mitchell, so I do see the Jazz struggling tonight against this Nuggets team. Denver is going to need a big game from their big three of Jokic, Murray, and Porter Jr. I do see Denver having a good game tonight especially since they lost their last game. Utah is due for a loss and tonight is the night.
Pick: Denver ML (1.21u/1u)

Cleveland -3.5 (1.12u/1u)
