The Celtics Can’t Cruise To The Playoffs
The Celtics are finally coming home after going 3-1 on their West Coast road trip. This road trip showed us that the Celtics are ready to fight down the stretch. The remaining games on the schedule are very winnable, but these opponents will be playing hard.

The Celtics need to take these last 14 games seriously. No, they can’t catch up to Milwaukee and Toronto in the standings, but they can get close. The Celtics are just two games behind both the Pacers and 76ers. And guess what, the C’s play the 76ers once and the Pacers twice before the end of the season. These three games are 100% must-win games if Celtics want to finish the season third in the Eastern Conference.
Now the real question is, will this Boston Celtics team finish third in the conference? My answer would be no. Looking at the three teams remaining schedules, the 76ers have the easiest final stretch. The Celtics will finish fourth in the East and most likely have a first-round playoff matchup against the Pacers. The key is, the Celtics will have home court advantage in this series.
