The Celtics Are Done
The Boston Celtics cannot seem to figure their chemistry this season. The team has lost 3 straight games, putting their record at 20-21. This is one of the most frustrating years to watch the Celtics. You simply do not know what team is going to show up. It’s aggravating because they have so much potential but are completely wasting it. Is the players? Is it the Coach? Or is it the front office?
When I look at the outcome of this season, I think about Danny Ainge. I mean he has had opportunities to make this team better but doesn’t pull the trigger. I’ll never get over the fact that he had the opportunity to trade Gordon Hayward to Indiana for Myles Turner but Ainge just didn’t do it. Next thing you know, Hayward goes to Charlotte and we get nothing in return.
There was a time this team seem to be ready for a championship. Had all the pieces to compete with one, to only watch all crumble. Something is going to change. Whether it’s with the Coach or the players. Something has to change because clearly it is not working. The Celtics at this point are fighting for a spot in the playoffs or maybe even the lottery if they continue with their current play.
