The Celtics Are A Confusing Team: Are They Actually Good Again?

Are the Celtics really back? They won eight games in a row before eventually losing their last game to the Pistons. The Celtics are one of the hottest yet confusing teams in the NBA. The question is, are the Boston Celtics really back and ready to take over the Eastern Conference?

First of all, they have been winning these games without some key players. Horford, Baynes, and Hayward have not played in all eight games. This has worked out for the Celtics since they are winning without them.

However, the question is can they win with them? Adding three big players back into the lineup is going to take playing time away from guys that are starting to heat up. Head coach Brad Stevens will have a tough job going forward deciding who to play and what to do with all of the talent this roster holds.

Second, look at the teams that the Celtics won these eight games against. The Pelicans, Cavaliers, Timberwolves, Knicks, Bulls, Pelicans, Wizards, and Hawks. That my friends are a lot of garbage NBA teams.

I give the Celtics credit for winning eight in a row, but they literally played some of the worst teams in the NBA. And when they did play a team that is in the playoff picture (the Pistons), they lost.

Right now, I am looking forward to Friday night’s game against the Bucs. This will be a statement game for the Celtics. The Bucs are coming into to Boston, and the C’s need to take care of business.

Going forward, the Celtics have a fairly easy schedule until mid-January. I had high hopes for this team going into the season. I will continue to be hard on this team until they are the best in the East. This team has a chance to win the championship this year, but Stevens has a lot of tinkering to do with his lineups.
