The Bright Spots Of This Season
This Red Sox season may be disappointing, but there are a few bright spots that we should all be rooting for. The Sox’s are six games back of a wild card spot, and the chances of them making the postseason are slim. However, this season shouldn’t overshadow some great things that have happened.

- Rafael Devers Is Having An MVP Type Season
That’s right, if the Red Sox were leading the East, Devers would be up for MVP. The kid is only 22 years old and he has been absolutely crushing the ball. His numbers have skyrocketed since last season and he continues to get better every day. Give this kid a few at third and he will be a gold glover in no time as well.

2. E-Rod Is Emerging As One Of Our Most Consistent Pitchers
He may not be flashy or have the lowest ERA, but E-Rod has had a great year on the hill. As of right now, he is 15-5 with an ERA of 3.92. We have seen E-Rod blossom over these past two seasons and he will enter next season as our most consistent starting pitcher.

3. Xander Bogaerts Showed Why We Paid Him
After locking Xander up for the next six seasons, he showed everyone what he is worth. Not only did he make the All-Star team, but he will most likely finish the season with an average over .300 and 30 plus home-runs. I can’t wait to see this kid continue to improve his game and lock down the shortstop position for years to come.
