It over. This disastrous season for the 2019 Boston Celtics is finally over. I’m not going to recap the last 3 games because frankly, the Celtics don’t deserve your attention. All you need to know is that they got their ass handed to them in Games 3, 4, and 5. So here are my final thoughts on this embarrassing season.
Now that its finally over, this is without a doubt the most disappointing Celtics’ season of my lifetime. They were the heavy favorites to win the East this year and they got bounced in the 2nd round. They became a hatable group of gutless individuals. And they’re quitters. That is something that I never thought I would say about the greatest organization in basketball history. So where do we go from here? BLOW IT UP! Keep anyone under the age of 25 and trade everyone else. Trade Al Horford is you can, trade Gordon Hayward if you can, AND LET THAT CANCER KYRIE IRVING WALK OUT THE DOOR. We have 3 first round picks, a good coach in Brad Stevens and 2 young studs in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. That’s a pretty good floor to build up from. If I can take anything positive out of this dumpster fire of a season, at least we are not the Lakers.
