Terry Rozier Just Confirmed On First Take He’s Basically GONE From the Celtics

The Celtics season may be over, but the off-season drama is just beginning. Terry Rozier made an appearance today on the popular ESPN show, “First Take”. On the show, host Stephen A. Smith asked Rozier if he would come back to the Celtics if they brought back the same exact team for the 2019-2020 season. His response?

I’m going to play devil’s advocate on this one.

On One Hand, Rozier Did Sacrifice A Lot

Terry Rozier did have to sacrifice minutes during the season. Everybody knew he wasn’t going to be starting over Kyrie Irving. Stephen A. even said it himself, Rozier could start for a lot of teams in the NBA right now. Rozier himself probably thinks he can start over Kyrie and also doesn’t have a problem saying what he truly thinks about Kyrie.

This wasn’t even on First Take, this was on Get Up. So multiple shows for Rozier equals more opportunities to bash his teammates if he wants to so badly.

On The Other Hand, This Isn’t Helping At All

We’re not dumb fans. Everybody saw the Celtics had problems early on in the 2018-2019 season. Rozier even went on to say that Gordon Hayward was part of the problem too. Um, excuse me? Is this the same Gordon Hayward who looked to pass more than take his own shot? If so, then maybe Rozier is confusing him with somebody else. It just isn’t a good look for Rozier or the Celtics.

In Conclusion

If you don’t want to stay here Terry, the door is waiting for you! I’ll actually be glad when he is gone because I couldn’t stand watching him consistently have bad shooting nights. But then again, if/when Kyrie leaves, doesn’t that open a door for the starting point guard spot on the Celtics? Be careful what you wish for, Terry!
