Tacko Fall Is Officially In Boston!
Fans asked for it. Now, fans are going to get their wish. Boston Celtics rookie center Tacko Fall has been the talk of the town. From taking swimming lessons with kids to having fun with Enes Kanter, the guy is absolutely electric here in Boston. Celtics fans were wondering what his future holds. Well, now we know that the Celtics want Tacko Fall in the fold. The Celtics and Fall agreed to a two-way contract.
Celtics are converting 7-foot-6 rookie Tacko Fall to a two-way contract, league sources tell ESPN. He will spend most of his season developing with G-League affiliate Maine, but can spend up to 45 days with Celtics in NBA.

So What Does This Mean?
This means that the Celtics will have Tacko in the G-League. He will get most of his playing time with the Maine Red Claws. But, look at the last part of the Wojnarowski tweet. Tacko can spend a month and a half in the NBA. Injuries can happen where Fall will be needed as a bench piece. Although Fall will not be with the actual Celtics team all season, he still is a part of the organization. That is the main tidbit to remember here.
Was This The Right Decision?
Simply put, yes it is the right decision. Tacko isn’t ready to make a big difference in the NBA. Remember, he’s been playing since he was only 16. He has so much more time to develop and grow as a player. Fall can spend the majority of the season in Maine developing his skills. The Celtics can figure out their identity with a fairly new roster. It’s a win-win for everybody involved. Danny Ainge did it again!
In Conclusion
Tacko Mania is here to stay for the time being. You can’t help but have a soft spot for this guy. He is so humble, so down to earth, and extremely likable. If you don’t believe me, here is the Kanter video I was talking about earlier.

As much as I’m loving Enes Kanter, there’s something about Tacko that cannot be ignored. The Celtics look good so far in preseason. Tacko is sticking around. The team likes each other now. This is a good sign going into next Wednesday’s season opener at Philadelphia. It’s Tacko Time!
