Happy Fun Friday everyone! Alright, I promise this is it for food articles… for now. This Sunday is one of the biggest eating days of the year other than Thanksgiving. It’s a crime that Super Bowl Sunday and the Monday after the Super Bowl aren’t recognized as holidays. By now, the menu should be complete or close to it. So what could possibly be on the menu this weekend? To start, there should be NOTHING HEALTHY! This is cheat day for everyone. So if you’re expecting to me to name a healthy snack, you’re wrong. This mouth watering article will leave you hungry. Let’s get into it, shall we?

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a must. Simple. It pains me that this year I won’t be having my aunt’s homemade buffalo chicken dip (it’s the best). Buffalo chicken dip should be a staple in every football fan’s household on Super Bowl Sunday. Before Covid, if I walked into a Super Bowl party with no buffalo chicken dip, I would leave and go buy some. Plus, to go with the dip there has to be some kind of Tostitos or crackers to go with it. Super Bowl Sunday cannot happen without buffalo chicken dip.

Pizza

I mean this is a classic. Pizza and Football will always go together like peanut butter and jelly. Since Super Bowl menu’s are typically snacks and appetizers, there needs to be a main food. Pizza should always be that choice. No questions asked.

Endless amount of wings

Chicken wings. Football. Delicious. Those three words will always be in the same sentence. However there’s two words missing from that. Super Bowl. Its no secret that football fans enjoy their chicken wings. Just make sure there’s more than plenty. Always have multiple flavors as well!

Cheeseburger bombs

Cheeseburger bombs are like Christmas ham. Why is that you ask? They only make an appearance one a year. Last year, my family took it to the next level by making Big Mac bombs. Yes we made the big mac sauce and loaded up the bun with what normally is in a Big Mac. I highly suggest that since those were some of the best food items we had last year for our family Super Bowl party.

Mozzarella sticks

The ultimate appetizer. Every restaurant has Mozzarella sticks. Every bar has mozzarella sticks. You can’t go wrong with these bad boys. It’s literally fried cheese, a simple combination with delicious flavor. Mozzarella sticks will always put a smile on anyone’s face who eats them!

My personal menu

Mac and Cheese bites will be making an appearance this year. However, they’re no ordinary mac and cheese bites. These bites will be coming from Rose and Vicki’s a local pizza place that has great appetizers as well. These mac and cheese bites are exquisite and melt in your mouth. If anyone in Massachusetts lives near a Rose and Vicki’s I highly suggest getting them.

This is the famous cheeseburger pizza from Domino’s. This covers both the burger and pizza aspect so why not get it. It has great taste and is perfectly fit for the occasion. Domino’s is coming in clutch on Sunday. Plus, this is also cost effective!

You know these just had to be here. Pigs in a blanket is now a tradition in my house to have on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s great finger food, and the have tons of flavor. Plus, you can have them straight up or you can find the best possible dipping sauce to make them taste even better. Out of the three that are on the menu for Sunday, this is the one I’m most excited for. So yes, I saved the best for last!
