Fantasy Start ’em

Quarterback

Cam Newton @ TB– Coming off a tough loss last week, the Panthers need every win they can get to make the playoffs.  I expect Cam to make some big plays this week against a Tampa Bay defense who hasn’t been good against the pass this year.  Cam is an elite QB1 this week for me.

Running Back

Phillip Lindsay @ Cin  – Cincinnati has been dead last against fantasy running backs.  In the last 3 weeks they have allowed 460 rushing yards, 5 rushing touchdowns, and 107.1 fantasy points.  Also worth nothing Lindsay over the last 2 weeks has 25 carries for 189 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.

Wide Receiver

Amari Cooper vs NO – As good as the Cowboys defense has been, the Saints are going to put up a bunch of points on them.  That being said, I expect Dallas to try to keep up.  With their newly found weapon on the outside, Amari Cooper,  they might just be able to keep it close.  Expect Cooper to get a ton of work this week.

Tight End

Eric Ebron @ Jax –  The Colts offense is red hot right now, and Ebron is right in the middle of it.  With Jack Doyle going to the IR,  I expect Ebron to get at least one touchdown a game for the rest of the year.  Let’s not forget the last time the Colts played the Jags, Ebron caught 2 touchdowns and ran for another one.

Fantasy Sit ’em

Quarterback

Ben Roethlisberger vs LAC–  The Chargers haven’t allowed more than 8.2 fantasy points to opposing QBs in the past 3 weeks.  They also haven’t allowed more than 19.5 points since week 3.  I think Big Ben throws a couple picks in this game and won’t have a great week.

Running Back

Tevin Coleman vs Bal  –  This is the 3rd week in a row where I’m telling you to bench Coleman and hopefully you’ve listened.  In the last two weeks Coleman has 16 carries for 64 yards.  The Ravens defense is number 1 against fantasy running backs.  No thanks.

Wide Receiver

Jarvis Landry @ Hou – Houston’s pass defense has been really good this year and it seems like Landry isn’t a factor in the Browns recent success.  Landry has had 5 catches for 52 yards in the Browns last two wins,  so whatever they’re doing right, it doesn’t involve Landry much.  He’s on my bench this week.

Tight End

Jimmy Graham vs Ari –  Graham hasn’t caught a touchdown since week 9 and he’s only got 2 this year.  With a broken thumb ailing him, against a pretty good Arizona defense,  I expect a disappointing game from the former stud.
