#SoccerSaturdays: USMNT Road To Qatar 2022 World Cup

Welcome back to another #SoccerSaturdays and happy Halloween to all of you!

It is crazy to think how quickly the World Cup is approaching and while there are so many talented players on the come up, I strongly believe it is time to look at our US Men National Team.

So why do I believe that? Well, starting with the fact of how young and talented a lot of our men are representing around the world. Most importantly though, the level of talent growing out of the US is finally becoming one that can’t be ignored.

Road to Qatar World Cup 2022.

As a USMNT soccer fan, I got to say I am very excited for this team and surely hope they go far. How far could they go though is the question and I believe they could go as far as quarterfinals! Before we go there though, lets have a look for what their road to Qatar 2022 looks like:

While the road to Qatar doesn’t look as challenging for a team full of youth and versatility, they are met by Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica. The factor that Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica bring to as difficulties down the road are the quick but physical game and in some cases, a very tactical game which the US will need to align and adjust for quickly.

Winning Formula For USMNT?

Like I said earlier, this is a team full of youth, talent and lots of versatility. It will be extremely important for Gregg Berhalter to put his focus on the UEFA Champions League.

Why focus mainly on the UEFA Champions League? Truly, while there is some growth happening at MLS level, and I can see some of them joining the USMNT, the boys representing the US at the highest levels will be essential to the national team.

If you don’t believe me, have a look for yourselves!

The best thing going for this team is not just Christian Pulisic. The fact of an excellent lineup including Gio Reyna, Sergino Dest, Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie, will be nothing short of amazing!

In Conclusion!

Honestly, I’ve been following the USMNT for ages and it has been great watching it grow.

However, the winning formula of all this youth together and with the hopes that they can remain healthy, it would be absolutely silly not to get behind these boys now more than ever.

So my fellow Americans, I leave you with this in mind:
