Lock:

Los Angeles Rams -3 (2.4u/2u)

The Los Angeles Rams are on the road against the Miami Dolphins this week. Miami is starting rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for the first time this season, as they look to go above .500 for the first time this season. In the Rams last eight games as a favorite they are 6-2 against the spread in games when they are four point or less favorites. Also in the Rams last thirteen road games they are 9-4 against the spread. Los Angeles is a very good road team, and with the experience on that defense going up against a rookie quarterback this is a no brainer to me. This play is too good not to take in my opinion. Lock in the Rams at -3 as I am risking 2.4 units to make 2 units in this one.

Fade:

Baltimore Ravens -4

The Baltimore Ravens host the only remaining undefeated team in the Pittsburgh Steelers today. I am still not sold on Baltimore being a legit threat this season. The Ravens have only played two teams with a winning record currently, and one of them was the Chiefs at home and they did not look very good. In their last nine games as a four point favorite or fewer; Baltimore is 2-6-1 against the spread. Pittsburgh in their last seven games vs the AFC North after a win the week prior is 5-1-1 against the spread. I think Pittsburgh’s defense is going to contain Lamar Jackson, and this game will go to the road team in this one. Fade the Ravens against good teams for the time being until they prove they can beat a good team.

Stay Away:

Over 40.5 (New England vs Buffalo)

This game has a defensive masterpiece written all over it. With the conditions that the game will be played in today, and the plethora of injuries on both teams this game will comfortably be a low scoring game. Cam Newton is without his two top receivers, the Patriots are without their number one corner back in Stephon Gillmore, and the Bills have some question marks on who is playing on their defense this week. I think both sides offensively are going to struggle, and this game will be a 17-14 game. Stay far far away from the under in this one.
