#SoccerSaturdays: BREAKING NEWS AND MORE!!!

Welcome to another edition of #SoccerSaturdays!

There is so much happening around the world of soccer that it is only right I bring you an update!

Let’s start shall we?

Juventus FC announce Italian soccer legend, Andrea Pirlo as their new head coach!!

The second leg of the round of 16 went down yesterday, bringing a stunner as Juventus have been eliminated from the tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s side is gone from the Champions League as they lost against Lyon yesterday.

Juventus did not take the loss lightly as Mauricio Sarri was relieved of his duties today as announced by Juventus’ Twitter Page:

Real Madrid was also eliminated from competition by Manchester City.

Expect today to be another exciting day in the league as Lionel Messi’s Barcelona face a tough opponent in Napoli. Also, Bayern Munich will be facing Chelsea FC lead by Frank Lampard who continues to have an amazing freshman coaching year.

The 2019-2020 season campaign has come to an end!

Going onto next years’ UEFA Champions League will be the following clubs:

  • Liverpool FC: Premier League Champions! Congratulations once again.
  • Manchester City.
  • Manchester United.
  • Chelsea FC.

The ending of the premier league was amazing for a lack of a better word.

Seeing Manchester United dispute against Leicester City for that last spot to enter Champions League was just breath-taking.

Now that the season has come to an end though, many teams are looking for their next talent signings and some teams are already ahead of that.

For example: Manchester City who have just concluded the transfer of Nathan Ake!

Rumors around the league are that Manchester United will be splashing some serious money this year with speculations of signing English wonder-talent Jadon Sancho from German team, Borussia Dortmund.

Some of the other signings rumored around the league for Manchester United are the following:

  • Dean Henderson expected to come back to Manchester United after a great spell at Sheffield United this past season.
  • David De Gea expected to be relieved of his duties or possible contract extension with Manchester United.
  • Jack Grelish and Declan Rice continue to be big names expected to join as well!

Real Madrid and Barcelona are on the cover of every newspaper this week as there are expectations for massive departures to happen with these two teams, lets dig into the action!

Barcelona FC:

It has been made notably clear that Lionel Messi is no longer happy with the team as they lacked to put a good performance this year in the league and there is simply not a lot of chemistry happening. So where could Messi possibly lend?

There are several targets for the Argentine but the highest potentials are Inter Milan or Manchester City. I will say, a reunion of Messi with Pep Guardiola would be devastating for the whole Premier League as those two are just pure geniuses when it comes to the beautiful game.

Real Madrid:

Yesterdays defeat to Manchester City have left a lot of speculations for this to be the last time that Zinedine Zidane continues to manage Real Madrid.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even be mad about this move as Zidane has simply just not done a lot with the team and certain talent brought in this year has just under-performed so badly that it is time for new leadership at the Bernabeu.

So who could be Real Madrid’s next boss? Personally, I believe it is time for Mauricio Pochettino to get back to work.

Pochettino is young and full of live and isn’t afraid to seek for new talent. If I was Florentino Perez, I would seriously consider Pochettino or even Massimiliano Allegri.

Some of the other departures expected are Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez who is expected to be signed by either Arsenal or Manchester United!

Expect 2020-2021 campaign all around the world to be nothing short of exciting and sensational.

The transfer market around Europe is sizzling hot and also players prepare for their national teams as well for World Cup action and continental tournaments.
