Should the Celtics Trade for Kevin Love?

There have been reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers would listen to offers in regards to Power Forward, Kevin Love. A team that might be interested in going after the All-Star, the Boston Celtics.

However, what will it take to get the big man to Boston? If it did take trading away one of the two young talents, Jaylen Brown or Jayson Tatum, then if I were the Celtics, I would decline.

The East is wide open this year, but it is not worth giving up one of those talents. Kevin Love is a good player and has postseason experience. His contract, however, is huge, and any contract deal that the Celtics would have to make would be difficult.

If the Celtics were to trade anyone on this current roster, I believe it would have to be Gordon Hayward. He is coming into his own this year, but his contract is also one of those deals that is difficult to get a deal done.

I will take Kevin Love on this team if it means the Celtics keep Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. If the Cavs want to make a deal with the Celtics involving one of those two players, Celtic fans need to hope that the team declines because it is not worth trading away a future talent for one wide-open year in the East.
