Since 2002, the revenues for MLB have increased by an average of eight percent per year. However, the owners proposed luxury tax threshold increase from 2022 to 2026 is just 4.5 percent overall.
Breaking: After nine straight days of meetings failed to produce a new CBA, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced that the start of the 2022 regular season will be delayed while the owners and players continue to work toward a deal.
