SATW: Episode 21
In this episode of the SATW podcast, I open it with my thoughts on Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and the update regarding his lawsuits. In my opinion, despite having 20 of the 24 lawsuits reach a settlement, he’s still facing suspension and will miss games in the 2022 season.
Next, I talk about the retirement of tight end Rob Gronkowski from the NFL after 11 NFL seasons. What’s more, I make a case for Gronkowski as a future Hall of Famer, going over his stats and his place in NFL history. Furthermore, I outline my criteria for a Hall of Famer and why Gronkowski checked all of the boxes.
Lastly, I explain why I feel he’s not coming out of retirement this time around. To me, his career is centered on the concept of quality versus quantity.

In closing, I share my love of wrestling front and center by discussing WWE superstar Becky Lynch and the storytelling being told. Furthermore, I discuss why Lynch doesn’t need a title at this juncture and how her character is spot on.
To me, her losing to Dana Brooke and Asuka is far from burying her; it’s a journey on her way back to the top. Although some fans will say otherwise, I, for one, am loving everything about what she’s doing thus far.
