SATW: Episode 19
In this episode of the SATW podcast, I talk to the brilliant-minded Chris Robin, discussing DFS, the NHL playoffs, and some Detroit sports. Firstly, I ask Chris about his process as well as how he approaches DFS in preparation, mentioning his daily routine.
I asked the DFS guru about which sport he loves doing DFS content for the most and notes how passion plays a pivotal role in his answer. What’s more, we talk about the NHL playoffs as Chris shares his opinion and who he likes coming out of the Eastern Conference between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers. Conversely, the winner will go on to face the Colorado Avalanche for the Stanley Cup.

Secondly, we shift to the NFL and discuss his beloved Detroit Lions. He explains why he loves the direction of the franchise and his personal expectations entering year two under head coach Dan Campbell. Additionally, we both then share our thoughts on quarterback Jared Goff as Chris indulges my rant about the signal-caller.
Lastly, I was able to sneak in some talk about the Detroit Tigers and how the season is fairing for them. Chris talks about the bullpen and the starting rotation. Furthermore, we acknowledge (without acknowledging) Miguel Cabrera as a future Hall of Famer. In addition, we converse about shortstop Javy Báez and his season and how he can turn it around as he currently has a batting average under .200.
