When you think of the Patriots early dynasty, you think about just how impressive their defense played. There was Tedy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, Lawyer Milloy, and others. Just to add to everything else, he was a three team first-team All-Pro selection. Numbers never lie. Seymour put up the production on the field to be worthy of a Hall of Fame selection.

The leadership was evident in Seymour. He was the silent, but hard-working type. Everyone knew who he was and what he was capable of on the field. He anchored a defense that was absurdly good. Seymour was a good man who played the game extremely hard and did what he had to do every day and every season.
