Ramblings and Rantings: A Quick “What You Can Expect”

Hi,

I am new here. So let me take the time to explain who I am and what you can expect from me. By doing so, I hope that you are drawn to not only my articles, but this site as a whole. Because, to be honest, I am a fan first. So me and Couch Guy fit like peanut butter and jelly.

First Things First

First off, I am a diehard Canadian Red Sox fan, and a “new to the game” Celtics fan. What you will get from me though will be Red Sox writings that do not pull punches. I like to think that I am unique because my opinions are straight up. I am moral, and I will not write something just to get your attention or to follow the crowd. With that in mind, you are going to like some of the things I say, and hate others. But thats okay, Because discourse is one of the best things about being a fan. So hit me up on twitter if youre angry, or happy, or you just want to shoot the shit. because I love to talk ball.

What To Expect From Me On Couch Guy

I have several opinions which I will outline quickly, and may touch on in the future:

• Xander is the most beautiful man in baseball
• Chris Sale owes us nothing and should be respected.
• Dustin Pedroia is the man, and deserves our support and love. He gave it all for us, so we should never turn our back on him.
• I do not know how I feel about Chaim Bloom yet.
• Alex Verdugo sucks.
• Rafael Devers is on pace to be a HOFer
• Im going to miss Brock Holt forever.
• Mike Napoli is my favorite player ever, and I cant really explain why.
• Benitendi needs to step it up

There are more of these, but you get the idea.

Folks, Im PUMPED to be here. I love to write and love baseball, the fans, and the Red Sox. I look forward to everything this brings and hope you do too.
