Ole Out: Toughest Week Ahead For United Manager

The toughest week is brewing for United’s manager as the “Ole Out” movement gets stronger amongst United fans.

In this weeks’ schedule for United, two massive clashes will test Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s capabilities as a manager for this club. Allow me to share with you those matches, what it could mean for United and more.

Following a loss against Leicester City last Saturday, United fans reached a boiling point where excuses are no longer tolerable. Manchester United fans are simply tired of the excuses with their manager and want Ole out.

Now, with little rest in between, a massive clash against Atalanta is next for United. How will Ole tackle this challenge? For starters, it is important for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to not underestimate the Italian side as their attack can be a lethal challenge ahead. If there is anyone that knows about the lethality that Atalanta possess in this match is Amad Diallo who warned United loud and clear according to reports.

Additionally, while United have never faced Atalanta, the record doesn’t help United either. Under Ole’s management, United have lost 58% of their Champions League matches which is the highest percentage by any manager to have taken charge of an English club. On the positive side of things, United will be at home and that could play a significant role in this match.

If things weren’t ugly already in the Premier League for United, now they will be!

Manchester United will be facing off against Liverpool this coming weekend. For Ole, this is going to be quite the challenge.

Starting with the fact that Liverpool is an imminent threat to a Manchester United defense that is still trying to figure things out. Dealing with a triple threat of attackers that are all in their top form won’t be an walk in the park at all. Here is exactly where Ole has got to have a sharp plan lined up.

Secondly, Mo Salah is in incredible form! However, De Gea’s inconsistencies in net leave a lot to desire. Let’s just say Ole figures out a decent defensive front, the person in net is yet to give much comfort in that position.

Lastly, and the actual good news hear are, Rashford is back. While this is great news for the club, what is Ole’s plan to maximize production upfront?

In Conclusion..

As a Manchester United fan, this is incredibly dark times for this club.

Frankly, while the summer transfer window created a lot of excitement, my biggest fear with this club has become a reality. In my mind, I wondered how Ole would manage a team with superstars like Sancho, Varane, Ronaldo, Rashford and Cavani. So far, that once-upon-a-time wonder is now more of a concrete answer, that answer being that he simply can’t. As I look deeper into the situation surrounding this team, it is just clear that a lot has yet to be addressed and there’s more to the issues than just Solskjaer.

For starters, yes Ole is a huge part of the problem. The boss can’t seem to figure out a strategic formation that truly speaks for the flow of this team and their creativity. Every week, it feels like a mad chemist is formulating something with the hopes it sticks. Simply, can’t do that in a league where consistency is a key factor.

Secondly, ownership! How do you only focus on three signings knowing that the CDM (Center-defensive Midfielder) position is still a problem. Fred is simply not the solution, Matic is getting older and McTominay is injury prone. Never mind the fact that Pogba’s contract is yet to be determined. Oh, and the cherry on top, De Gea is inconsistent as ever.

With the week ahead for this club facing a tough challenge in Italian side, Atalanta and then facing Liverpool? I think we would be lucky if this United team can manage to tie at least one of these matchups. However, I think it will be very likely that as a fan, the Ole Out cry will be louder than ever and will force the Glaziers to yet make another managerial move once again.
