Five years, $95M is a little less than my guess from last week (five years, $100M), but overall I think this is good for both sides. Odell is now the highest paid receiver in the league, and the Giants have their best player locked up for the foreseeable future. I guess the only concern I can express is this; Who will be throwing him the ball during that time? Not only will Eli Manning be 38 by seasons end, but he also sucks. If the Giants plan on being successful during the length of Odell’s new contract, they should probably figure out the most important part of their team. Something tells me they’re going to regret passing on a QB in last April’s draft.
