NBA Announces Commemorated 75th Anniversary Logo
Today, the NBA announced the new logo for the 2021-22 season that will commemorate the leagues 75th anniversary.
The commemorative NBA 75th Anniversary Season logo will appear throughout the 2021-22 season on courts and official NBA merchandise, inside arenas and in original broadcast, digital and social media content. pic.twitter.com/Tq7w3R2s7i

Honestly, I kind of like the diamond. I think it is very different and fresh. I think seeing this on the broadcasts and on the jerseys will be a nice touch.
However, the NBA did get one logo wrong…

Couldn’t agree more with you, Steve! I said this years ago when they magically changed – I will not forgive who did this. I have said this before but I think them switching to Nike fucked a lot of this up. Yes, Nike has the better uniforms and color schemes, but Adidas owned the Finals merch and logos.
As a kid, I will never forget the trophy behind the Celtics logo on the floor. To this day, that is what the NBA Finals is to me. Not this basic Times New Roman bold font! Give me the pretty cursive! Make this feel more like a Finals, than a final… If you know what I mean!
Overall, though, I do like the diamond for the 75th Anniversary. But, they need to figure out The Finals logo.
