The English Premier Season has begun in full force for Manchester United and other top tier teams. However, the start of the season for Manchester United, if you asked me to describe it in one word, I would say: YIKES!

As a fan, I was beyond disgusted with the team. While I completely understand it is only game 1 and a whole season to go thru, i have a tough time seeing how irresponsible and out of shape most players looked to be in.

Now, I am as excited as anyone may be about the Donny Van De Beek signing. However, The Glazers have lacked of drive and desire to get signings in the door. Add that, and the poor shape the players are in and you get this!

What Should Manchester Do?

The Glazer family’s reluctant pursuit for Jadon Sancho has almost closed the door for other repairs needed. October 5th is round the corner and these are some must’s that Manchester United needs to get, NOW!

• Defense: The Lindelof/Maguire formula isn’t working out at all. Solksjaer now needs to bring more depth at center-back, I would shoot after Kalido Koulibaly and Alex Telles for the left defense.

• Midfield: Solksjaer needs to add options! I wouldn’t mind eyeing an right wing option with somebody like Paulo Dybala!

Just picture that midfield! Dybala, Fernandes, Rashford.

• Forward: Somebody needs to come into Manchester United to drive the forward position. For me, Anthony Martial while he is good, he just doesn’t scream a danger upfront. I would go after a Lautaro Gutierrez from Inter Milan or maybe go after a cheap option in Luis Suarez!

Call me crazy and all, but a Luis Suarez and Anthony Martial combination upfront for Manchester United would be a massacre for the English Premier League, don’t even deny it!

Goalie Battle At Manchester United.

The goalie battle at Manchester United is one that also needs to be finished.

I am excited to see Dean Henderson back at Manchester United. However, being an honest manager here for a second, benching a talent like Henderson just doesn’t make sense at all.

De Gea was ok in net for Crystal Palace. However, Henderson just played his first start in the Carabao Cup and the dude was incredible!

In Conclusion: Time To Panic, Yet?

While it is only game one, and the boys just came off a good game 1 in the Carabao Cup, I still think there is a lot of work to be done internally at United.

Sacking Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is out of the question at this time, the guy knows what he is doing but with no support from The Glazer family, it is basically impossible for Woodward and Solskjaer to get it done.

Thankfully for Manchester United, their next match is against Brighton. While Brighton has an ok defense, this is a perfect opportunity for United to display their talent and clean the slate with a potential high scoring game for the Reds.
