Lock, Fade And Stay Away Week 2 NFL Sunday (9/20/20)
If you want the rest of my lock(s) for this jam packed Week Two NFL Sunday and you want Fiesta’s as well; make sure you follow us on twitter (@thechasers617).
Lock(s):
Atlanta Falcons +4 (1.15u/1u)
The Atlanta Falcons offense looked very good last week against Seattle. Unfortunately, their defense didn’t look as good. Atlanta is a road favorite today against Dallas that struggled in the second half against the Rams last week. Dallas couldn’t get any momentum in the second half last week, and it hurt their chances when Mike McCarthy went for it on fourth down rather than kick a field goal to try and tie the game. This is going to be an absolute shootout this week, as I see both offenses getting their own this week. I do love Atlanta in this matchup, as I see them making one more stop than the Cowboys do. Lock in Atlanta at +4 as I am risking 1.1 units to make 1 unit on this play.
Over 45 (New England vs Seattle) (1.05u/1u)
This Sunday Night Football Game is going to be quite the entertaining one. You have Cam Newton and the Patriots offense that looked completely different than Patriots fans are accustomed to. Then you have Seattle’s offense with my MVP candidate Russell Wilson running the show. This game is going to be a bloodbath, as I expect this game to be extremely close. We will see how Newton does against a better defense this week, but the total on this is just way too low. I see this being a 30-27 final score type of game that finishes either way. With that logic lock in the over in this one as I am risking 1.05 units to make 1 unit in this one.
Fade:
Indianapolis Colts -3
Indianapolis has started their season on the worst possible note. Not only did they lose to Jacksonville in Week One, but they lost their starting running back Marlon Mack for the season as well. That injury bodes well for second round pick Jonathan Taylor who is set to have a way bigger workload than he was expected to get. Unfortunately, they take on the Vikings today who has a very good run defense. Also the Colts have had great success against the Vikings throughout their entirety as a franchise. Indianapolis is 5-1 against the Vikings, and have won their last three against Minnesota. I am not in love with the Colts today, as I see the Vikings bouncing back today. Also don’t love Phillip Rivers in Indianapolis as well. Fade the Colts today, too much inconsistencies for me to want to take them today.
Stay Away:
Under 42 (Buffalo vs Miami)
This game is going to be a high scoring affair in this divisional matchup today. The last three times these two have faced the over hit every time. It also has hit in eight out of their last ten meetings as well. Josh Allen and company have hit the under in six out of their last eight games, while the Dolphins have hit the over in six out of their last eight. It depends on what side that you want to trust. As Buffalo does have a top five defense in the league, do you ride the over in this one? I would so that means you should stay far far away from the under in this one.
