Oakland Athletics -160
Oakland’s offense has been very good as of late, and their pitching staff has been great as of late as well. Oakland has won five in a row, and seven out of their last ten games. Today’s pitching matchup in my opinion favors Oakland in this one. Having Mike Fiers going up against Mike Minor is an advantage in my opinion. Also the A’s have won nine out of their last ten matchups against the Rangers. Lock in the Athletics as I believe Matt Olson and that lineup is going to take full advantage of Mike Minor today.
Miami Heat +9
The Miami Heat are looking very good in the NBA bubble at this current moment. The Bucks have been lackadaisical since entering the bubble, and this is a big reason why I have Miami at +9 as a lock. Even with Jimmy Butler out, the Heat gave the Celtics a tough time on the offensive end on Tuesday in their 112-106 win. Miami is a great team, and can easily make Milwaukee struggle shooting wise throughout the entire game with their tenacious defense. Another thing in the Heat’s favor is that they are 8-3 against the spread in their last 11 games against Milwaukee. Lock in the Heat for sure at -9, but don’t hesitate to look at that moneyline (+300) as a potential big money move today as well.
St. Louis Blues -105
The St. Louis Blues lost a heartbreaker in their first round robin game against the Avalanche. Colorado scored with .01 seconds left in regulation to give the Blues a loss in their first round robin game. Now today they play Vegas, who came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Dallas Stars in their first round robin game 5-3. Momentum is on Vegas’ side in this one, and I believe we see it first hand today in this matchup. I also feel that if these two met in the playoffs last season that Vegas would have beat them, and the Blues wouldn’t be our reigning Stanley Cup Champions. So with that logic that I have I am fading the St. Louis Blues today.
Over 10 (Yankees vs Phillies)
The New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies played a double header yesterday. Both teams split winning one a piece and the first game at a lot of runs in it and the second run had very few. With the pitching matchup being Jordan Montgomery going up against Zach Eflin I am leaning towards staying away from the over in this one. Not because I don’t think the Yankees lineup will be on par to, but Philly’s lineup scored eleven in the first game and then only one in the second game. I am thinking we see more of a low run total on Philly’s end, and the Yankees get around 5-7 runs. I don’t see the Phillies getting 3 or more runs today so stay far far away from the over in this one.
