Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/30/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s), and all of Fiesta’s make sure you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also follow us on soundcloud (@thechasers).

Lock(s):

Denver Nuggets +2.5

The Denver Nuggets stayed alive with a huge game five performance from their dynamic duo (Murray and Jokic). Jamal Murray has been on a different planet the past two games, and isn’t looking to go home anytime soon. Now Denver gets Gary Harris back for Game Six, and Harris hasn’t played since before the restart. Harris gives them a good wing defender that will make it hard for Donovan Mitchell. Denver is going to get the job done tonight and either force a game seven or lose by a bucket. Lock in the Nuggets at +2.5 for tonight’s Game Six matchup.

Colorado Avalanche -140

The Avalanche dominated the majority of game three, then blew a lead only to end up getting it back and holding onto a Game Three victory. Colorado looks to even the series up tonight, and I still think they are the better team. Even with Pavel Francouz in net, I believe this Avalanche team has the depth in front to help him out. Colorado is going to be all over the ice tonight, and that is why I love them tonight. High scoring affair it will be, but lock in the Avalanche to win the game.

Fade:

Arizona Diamondbacks -125

The Arizona Diamondbacks as of late have only won one game since August 19th. They are struggling and as a favorite against the Giants today I am fading them today. Here is why; first reason is that San Francisco has won seven out of their last ten games. Second reason is that they are 4-1 in their last five against Arizona. Now today’s pitching matchup is Johnny Cueto for the Giants going up against Taylor Clarke for the Diamondbacks. In seven starts this season the Giants are 4-3 in games that Cueto has started in. I think the Giants have the edge today, and that is why I am fading the Diamondbacks today.

Stay Away:

Over 5 (Philadelphia Flyers vs New York Islanders)

This game three matchup was a very defensive minded game that I see carrying over to game four tonight. Look for this game to end in a 2-1, 2-0 type of final score yet again. I know who I like to win this game (follow us on @thechasers617 to find out who.) The under has hit in four out of the Islanders last six games. While for Philadelphia the under has hit in 11 out of their last 15 games. Follow the trend here and stay far far away from the over in this Game Four matchup.
