Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/19/20)
Guess What …. I’m Still HOT boys….. if you want the rest of my lock(s) and all of Fiesta’s locks make sure to follow us on twitter (@thechasers617). We are HOT and you aren’t smart if you’re not following us yet.
Lock(s):
Over 225.5 (Brooklyn Nets vs Toronto Raptors)
The Toronto Raptors made easy work of the Brooklyn Nets in game one on Monday. Toronto looks to be locked in and ready to make another run at the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Brooklyn has too many guys out, nobody can guard Siakam this series is already over. Now the points is a little hard for me to confidently take (-12) for the Raptors, I am going to stay away from that and focus on the over/under.
In their last ten meetings the over has hit six out of ten times, and two out of their last three meetings. With the over/under total locked in at 225.5, I am absolutely hammering the over. Lock in the over as the Raptors will continue their hot streak tonight.
Under 5 (Montreal Canadians vs Philadelphia Flyers)
The Flyers are coming off back to back shutouts, and they are a win away from making it to the Eastern Conference Semifinals for the first time since 2012. Montreal’s offense hasn’t looked good, and to be quite frank neither has Philadelphia’s. The under has either hit, or it was tied in all four games of the series so far. I expect this to be another low scoring game with either side winning. Lock in the under in this matchup yet again tonight.
Fade:
New York Mets -220
The New York Mets are heavy favorites against the Miami Marlins in today’s matchup. Miami’s offense has struggled, and the Mets have been on fire. Today’s pitching matchup is Jacob deGrom for the Mets and Pablo Lopez for the Marlins. I think the Mets offense is going to cool off and deGrom is going to struggle in his first start in ten days due to injury. Fade the Mets today, as I think the Marlins have some sneakily good value today.
Stay Away:
Over 11 (Philadelphia Phillies vs Boston Redsox)
In their last ten meetings against one another the under has hit eight out of ten times. Philly’s offense was great after the fourth inning yesterday, and even with the pitcher that the Redsox has going today I still think the over is too high. I think Philadelphia is going to get at least six runs today, but I do think the Redsox will help keep this under the mark. Stay far far away from the over in this one.
