Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/18/20)

I have been on an absolute tear as of late. Here are some of my lock(s) that if you are currently still fading …. god bless. Also don’t forget to follow us on twitter @thechasers617 for the rest of my locks as well as Fiesta’s. The boys are hot and you shouldn’t miss out on our locks, especially when they are free.

Lock(s):

Over 215 (Indiana Pacers vs Miami Heat)

The Miami Heat struggled down the stretch in the bubble, but looked very good at the start of the bubble. Jimmy Butler and company when fully healthy can give any team an extremely hard time. This series between the Heat and the Pacers is going to be an absolute battle night in and night out. Both teams are very good offensively and can get after you on the defensive side as well.

Tonight being the opening game, I can very well see this over at 215 go way over. Lock in the over tonight as both teams look to start the series on the right foot.

Under 5 (Philadelphia Flyers vs Montreal Canadians)

We saw an absolute goalie duel in game three’s 1-0 victory for the Philadelphia Flyers. Now heading into game four the Flyers have a chance to make it a 3-1 lead, while Montreal will look to even the series up at two. Philadelphia’s offensive surge cooled off after game one, as they have only put up one goal in two games. Montreal’s offense in game two was very good, and then in game three they just couldn’t find the back of the net.

I think tonight’s game is going to be close, and will be a low scoring affair as well. Lock in the under in this matchup as I see the final score being 2-1 for either team.

Fade:

Dallas Stars -125

The Dallas Stars looked to be going down 3-1 in the series, before their late heroics in game four. Now we have a tied series and game five is very important for both sides. In my opinion the Flames have had the advantage in that series so far, but with Dallas tieing the series up at two anything is possible. I am fading the Stars again tonight, because I am just not all in on them just yet. Fade the Stars in tonight’s huge game five.

Stay Away:

Over 11 (Philadelphia Phillies vs Boston Redsox)

The Redsox offense looked very bad for the most part in the four game series against the Yankees. Now they take on the Phillies who have won three straight games. Tonight’s pitching matchup is Zach Eflin for the Phillies going up against Zack Godley for the Redsox. Godley has not looked good in any starts so far in 2020, and the Redsox have not won any games that he has started in either. In the last ten meetings between the two the under has hit 8 out of ten times. Stay far far away from the over in this one.
