Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/14/20)
If you want the rest of my lock(s) and all of fiesta’s go follow us on twitter @thechasers617. Your boy has been positive all week …… give us a look.
Lock(s):
Under 5.5 (Arizona vs Colorado)
The Arizona Coyotes are looking to even up the series after a rough third period to end game one against Colorado. The Avalanche are a very tough team, and showed how tough they were in game one. Arizona’s young core put up a fight and kept it scoreless the first two periods of game one. Then a collapse by giving up three goals in less than a two minute span was the huge difference in game one. Also in the two’s last four meetings the under has hit in every meeting. I feel we will see more of the same today, and lock in the under in this game two matchup.
Washington Capitals -120
The Capitals are another team that is looking to bounce back after being up 2-0 in game one, the Capitals went on to lose 4-2 to the Islanders in Game one. Washington looked lackadaisical after going up two in game one. Giving up four straight goals after leading is demoralizing. This Capitals core has won a Stanley Cup before so I expect them to give more effort in game two tonight.
One thing not on their side is that the Islanders are 4-2 in their last six meetings against the Capitals. I think the Capitals bounce back tonight and that Alex Ovechkin & company get back on track. Lock in the Capitals ML tonight.
Fade:
St. Louis Blues -140
The St. Louis Blues have yet to show me that they are the reigning Stanley Cup Champions yet in the restart. In the last three meetings against the Canucks they are 1-2. St. Louis had an awful third period in game one against the Canucks, and looked ok in the first two periods. This team hasn’t won a game in the bubble yet, and I don’t see the tide in their favor tonight as well. Fade the Blues tonight as they will still show that they are not fully one hundred percent and the Canucks will take full advantage of that.
Stay Away:
Under 10 (Tampa Bay Rays vs Toronto Blue Jays)
Tampa Bay’s offense was absolutely on fire in their four game series sweep of the Boston Redsox. They now open a three game series in Buffalo against the Blue Jays. In their last three meetings the teams together average about eight runs per game. Tonight’s pitching matchup is Trevor Richards for the Rays going up against Tanner Roark for the Blue Jays. Both pitchers have struggled at times this season, and I believe that today we will see a low scoring game. Stay far far away from the under in this one.
