Lock, Fade And Stay Away (8/13/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s) which has been hot this week …. check the record on twitter (@thechasers617) …. also if you want Fiesta’s locks they will be on our twitter account as well.

Over 225 (Washington vs Boston)

The NBA Bubble overs have produced at a very high level since the restart, and in this matchup between the Wizards and the Celtics I see the trend continuing. Yes. I know the Celtics won’t be without their top six guys (Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Walker, Smart, and Theis), but I see a lot of points being put up in this one. Celtics bench will be putting on a show offensively, while the Wizards are going to try and contribute to the over as well. Lock in this over as I see both teams scoring well over 100 and this game being a fun start to the nba slate today.

Columbus Blue Jackets +1.5 (-175)

After the 5 OT thrilling loss in game one, the Blue Jackets come into game two looking to even up the series at one a piece. Columbus’ shot totals were a lot less than Tampa’s was, but still had numerous chances to take game one. I think today we see guys like Cam Atkinson play much better than he did in game one. This afternoon start time again for them hopefully doesn’t end up as long as game one did. Game two will provide a lot of excitement, and this game can still go to either team. Lock in the Blue Jackets on the puck line, because I think whoever wins this game wins by a goal.

Los Angeles Dodgers -140

The Dodgers offense showed up last night for the first time in their four game series against the Padres. With the shortened season, the Dodgers have more pressure on them to produce night in and night out. With tonight’s pitching matchup being Chris Paddack for the Padres, and Julio Urias for the Dodgers I am giving the slight advantage to the Padres tonight. Paddack already has faced the Dodgers this season (6 IP 3 ER and 5K’s) in a winning effort. The Dodgers are on the ropes, and the Padres are right behind them in the standings. Fade the Dodgers who will lose their 4th out of their last six games.

Stay Away:

Boston Redsox +1.5 (-120)

The Rays are going for the four game sweep of the Redsox, who’s lineup has been very inconsistent as of late. The Redsox have scored an average of 4 runs in their last ten meetings with the Rays, while the Rays have scored an average of 6 runs. The Rays offense has been great this series and will look to continue it’s hot run today against the Red Sox. Today’s pitching matchup consists of Tyler Glasnow for the Rays going up against Kyle Hart for the Redsox. Glasnow has the advantage in this one, and the Red Sox struggle will continue for them today. Stay far far away from the Red Sox on the run line today.
