Lock:
Toledo ML (2u/2.1u)
Toledo will look to build off of last week’s 38-3 win over Bowling Green. While Western Michigan absolutely destroyed Akron last week as well. The Broncos open up as a two point favorite today, and I think this is going to be the best MAC game of the week. Eli Peters looked good last week, and I think we will see this carry over in tonight’s game. I will take Eli Peters from Toledo over Kaleb Eleby from Western Michigan in not only tonight’s game, but moving forward. Western Michigan has only won one out of their last five home games against Toledo. I love Toledo in this spot, and lock in the Rockets money line tonight.
Fade:
Ball State -8.5
Ball State is set to take on Eastern Michigan tonight. Both teams lost real close games last week to Kent State and Miami Ohio. So I am looking forward to seeing this matchup play out tonight. Ball State had some momentum on offense last week, but how will their defense play tonight is the big question. Eastern Michigan is going to keep this game close as their offense looked good last week as well. I am fading Ball State -8.5 as I don’t think they will cover against Eastern Michigan.
Stay Away:
Under 58 (Central Michigan vs Northern Illinois)
Both of these offenses produced last week, and I expect to see more of the same tonight. Northern Illinois’ defense is going to struggle against Central Michigan’s offense today. Kobe Lewis is going to keep the Huskies defense on their toes at all aspects of the game tonight. The Chippewas dominated the Huskies last season, and I see this being closer this year. I love the over tonight, and you should absolutely stay away from the under in this one.
