Over 9 (Tampa Bay Rays vs New York Yankees) (1.04u/1u)
Tonight we have Game Three of the ALDS between the Rays and the Yankees. This is now a best of three series, and we have a lot to talk about. First things first … WHAT IN GOD’S NAME WAS AARON BOONE THINKING LAST NIGHT? If you are a Yankees fan, how are you able to back a manager that over manages. Aaron Boone pitches their young talented pitcher Deivi Garcia only one inning before switching to the lefty J.A. Happ. That was the worst move that he could have made, because the Rays lineup feasted on Happ. Tonight we have Charlie Morton on the bump for the Rays going up against Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees.
This over could very well be a risky one, but the way that these offenses have been so far this series it is hard to want to consider taking the under. Game Three should be very exciting as I am staying away from either side due to my lack of winners I have in the MLB Post Season. Lock in the over in this one as I am risking 1.04 units to make 1 unit in this one.
Atlanta Braves -1.5
The Braves offense woke up after Alcantara hit Acuna with a pitch. Atlanta looked real legit yesterday after that moment, and it was kind of scary to see. Unfortunately, I see their young starter Ian Anderson struggle against this young Marlins lineup today. The Braves used their big boy bats in Game One, and I believe they take a step back today. Atlanta is undefeated so far this post season, but I don’t see that trend continuing today. I love Pablo Lopez in this spot for the Marlins, and I see him building off the success he had in his last start of the season which so happened to be against the Braves. He has won his last three starts and looked great in all of them. Fade the Braves run line today, as I don’t see it covering personally.
Over 9 (Oakland A’s vs Houston Astros)
I see this game going comfortably under, as the Astros and A’s have had the under hit in 10 out of their last 14 meetings. This game could go either way, but I don’t see a plethora of runs scoring today. I understand the pitching matchup isn’t great, but the A’s offense has struggled this series so far. Houston will struggle against Luzardo, and this game ends up being a 4-2 final score type of game. Look for the under here and stay far far away from the over as this game will not be exciting score wise.
