Lock:
Atalanta -110 (2.2u/2u)
Atalanta is set to play game number two for them in the group stage as they get set to take on Ajax. These two teams have never met before, so it will be an interesting sight to see. Ajax to me doesn’t look like the same team from a season ago. Losing Donny van de Beek and Hakim Ziyech have been detrimental to this team in my opinion. Not having those two solid midfielders makes it hard for me to be able to take Ajax.
Atalanta has a solid crew up front in Zapata to go along with Muriel, Gomez, and Ilicic. These four are pivotal to the success that Atalanta can have. If those four are not in good form, Atalanta will struggle tremendously moving forward. I don’t think Ajax matches up well with Atalanta and I am riding with Atalanta in this one. Lock them in as I am risking 2.2 units to make 2 units in this one.
Fade:
Real Madrid -110
Real Madrid lost their Champions League opener to Shakhtar Donetsk. I understand that Real Madrid was without Sergio Ramos in their last competition, but Shakhtar Donetsk was missing ten of their starters due to Covid-19. Ramos is healthy and should be in the lineup for their matchup today with Borussia Monchengladbach. One trend I have noticed is that Madrid is unbeaten in their last nine matches against German teams in European competition (6-3-0). Another thing to look out for is how better this team is with Ramos in the lineup. Although I don’t think that will be the case today. I am fading Real Madrid today, because I don’t know how many they will be able to get past Sommer today.
Stay Away:
Under 8 (Tampa Bay Rays vs Los Angeles Dodgers)
This World Series has been wildly underrated in my honest opinion. I feel because their are barely any fans in the stands, nobody is talking about this World Series. Game Six is tonight, and both teams still have a legitimate chance to win the World Series. Tonight’s matchup we have Blake Snell going up against Tony Gonsolin. The Dodgers will look to end things tonight, as the Rays we throw everything at the Dodgers en route to send them to a Game Seven. Tampa Bay has been on the brink of elimination twice already this post season and has won both of those games. I expect this game to be high scoring and decided by a run. Stay away from the under in this one.
