Lock, Fade And Stay Away (10/24/20)

If you want the rest of my picks and all of Fiesta’s make sure that you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also go make sure you are giving our podcast a follow and a listen on Sound Cloud (@thechasers) as well.

Lock:

Over 52 (Iowa State vs Oklahoma State) (2.18u/2u)

In these two teams last three meetings the over has hit two times. Both offenses are going to be very lethal today in my honest opinion. Oklahoma State is set to get Spencer Sanders back which is big for that Cowboys offense. He will take some of the pressure off of Chubba Hubbard and we will see guys like Dillon Stoner and Tylan Wallace finally make an impact this season. For Iowa State the Cowboys defense has looked good against Tulsa, Kansas and West Virginia so far this season. None of those offenses are as good as Iowa State’s so this will be their first test. I love the over in this one as I think Brock Purdy vs Spencer Sanders is going to be a very underrated quarterback battle today. Lock in the over in this one as I am risking 2.18 units to make 2 units in this one.

Fade:

Texas Longhorns -10.5

Texas is far from back and we have seen that in their last two games against TCU and Oklahoma. This Longhorn defense is really bad, and Baylor is easily going to exploit this defense today. Charlie Brewer, Tyquan Thornton and company are going to have a field day today. Do I think Texas doesn’t have a shot to win this game? No, I think they can win this game today don’t get me wrong. They will not cover this number though that is for sure. Baylor is a solid team and they won last year at home against Texas as well. Also fun stat to watch out for in their last ten meeting the Baylor Bears are 7-3 against the spread against the Longhorns. Fade Texas, you will thank me later.

Stay Away:

Under 46.5 (Kansas vs Kansas State)

Kansas’ defense is not good at all, and this number is too low in my opinion. This Kansas team hasn’t given up fewer than 38 points in a game all season long. Can they easily not score double digits in this game? Absolutely, but Kansas State has given up double digits in every game this season. I love the over in this one, I think this over is an easy over to take in my opinion. The under just seems like a waste to be honest. Kansas State’s team total is currently at 33.5, which means in order for this under to hit Kansas would have to hit double digits. Stay far away from the under folks, and I’ll see you all on twitter when we make money together on this.
