Lock, Fade And Stay Away (10/13/20)

If you want the rest of my lock(s) and all of Fiesta’s make sure that you are following us on twitter (@thechasers617). Also go make sure you are giving our podcast a follow and a listen on Sound Cloud (@thechasers) as well.

Lock:

Buffalo Bills -3.5 (2.26u/2u)

The Buffalo Bills have looked fantastic so far to start off the 2020 season. Currently sitting at 4-0, Buffalo is currently on the rise to success and a big reason why is the way that quarterback Josh Allen has been playing. The Bills adding Stefon Diggs in the off season has allowed Allen to do what he does best and that is sling the football. Having a consistent receiver to throw to is helping Allen and the Bills offense big time so far this season.

In Buffalo’s last five games as a road favorite ranging from 7 points or fewer, the Bills are 4-1 against the spread. Also in the Bills last eleven on the road they are 8-2-1 against the spread. Also here are two Tennessee stats to watch out for today. In their last twelve games after a win the Titans are 4-8 against the spread. Also the Titans 0-3 against the spread this season. This is an easy one for me lock in the Buffalo Bills -3.5 as I am risking 2.26 units to make 2 units in my lock of the day.

Fade:

Tampa Bay Rays -113

The Tampa Bay Rays are currently up 2-0 in the ALCS and will look for the commanding 3-0 lead tonight against the Astros. Houston is a veteran team that definitely won’t allow that to happen tonight. The Astros have cost themselves the first two games of the series, and it could easily be 2-0 advantage Houston. If Houston’s bats are going to be as good as I think they will be tonight, it is an easy fade to fade the Rays tonight.

Ryan Yarbrough is on the mound for the Rays, and in his last post season start he lost to the Yankees. I don’t trust Yarbrough tonight, and I think Houston’s lineup will bounce back in a big way tonight. Fade the Rays as the series will go 2-1 after tonight.

Stay Away:

Over 7.5 (Atlanta Braves vs Los Angeles Dodgers)

We saw a pitching duel by both sides until the top of the ninth inning last night. One stat I am following tonight is that in Ian Anderson’s last three starts the under has hit all three times. I expect another pitching duel tonight as we will get the Braves young starter Ian Anderson taking on the veteran Clayton Kershaw tonight for the Dodgers. Both lineups looked immortal yesterday until the ninth when the Braves took off. Tonight we will see another low scoring game, and both sides will have to rely on their starting pitcher to help get the job done. Stay far far away from the over in this one tonight.
