Legends Lingo Podcast: Episode 129

We’re back with the Legends Lingo podcast, episode 129! A lot of fun topics this week that we discussed. No Matty D in this one, but Powder and I have some fun with a lot of Red Sox talk with a Patriots tidbit thrown in there as well. Programming note: Powder will not be around the next few weeks as he’s traveling for his job. But while all of that is happening, here’s our episode from last week if you need to get caught up!

Topics This Week on Episode 129 of Legends Lingo

The Red Sox drafted Marcelo Mayer at number overall in the draft. What a pick by Chaim Bloom! We talk about how we feel about the pick, what it could mean for Xander Bogaerts career in Boston, and if we’re sad that Jack Leiter wasn’t the pick.

The Red Sox also extended Matt Barnes for two more years, with a third year option. We talk about what this means for the Red Sox bullpen, could there be another move on the way for the bullpen and much more.

Also, Cassius Marsh is back in the news talking trash about the Patriots. We get into why it’s just ridiculous and how foolish it all sounded coming from Marsh, a guy who played three months for the Patriots.
