Juju Smith-Schuster Announces His Logo Dancing Is Over

On this past Monday, the Cincinnati Bengals stunned the Pittsburgh Steelers by a final score of 27-17. There were a lot of big plays that led to a Bengals victory, but none may have been bigger than when safety Vonn Bell destroyed Steelers wideout Juju Smith-Schuster.

As you can see in the video, Bell’s hit forced a fumble which the Bengals scooped up. That led to a Giovanni Bernard touchdown for Cincy, helping them overcome their divisional big brother.

Still, Bell’s hit had a little bit more to it. Before the Monday night matchup, Bell was asked about Smith-Schuster dancing on opposing team logos before the game: something he has done throughout the season. Bell responded to the question by saying, “We’ve just gotta go out there between the lines, go out there and hit him. Let him know where he stands”.

Bell certainly did that, and he also pretty much put a nail in a coffin for Juju’s dancing. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported today that Smith-Schuster will stop his pregame ritual, coming off of the heels of the loss at Cincinnati.

I am all for promoting your own image like Smith-Schuster does, but thankfully he learned his lesson. Every time he danced on an opponents logo it added fuel to their fire, while also putting a target on his own back.

Now I don’t like the Steelers (at all), but Smith-Schuster stopping his antics will really be good for his team. They are currently on a three-game losing streak, and are eyeing another Super Bowl victory.
