Jayson Tatum Struggles, Gets Right Back To Work
Don’t get me wrong, the Celtics are rolling right now. They just won their 8th straight game last night against the Dallas Mavericks.

The win puts the Celtics at 8-1, while having the best overall record in the NBA. One guy that struggled in the win was forward Jayson Tatum. Tatum finished the game with five points while shooting 1-18 from the field. Woof! But have no feat Celtics fans, Tatum got right back to work this morning.
Jayson Tatum went 1/18 tonight. He’s currently at the Auerbach Center getting shots up, per his Snapchat.

This is what Celtics fans want to see from Tatum. He’s taking responsibility for a bad night shooting from the night before. Tatum is getting his work in to avoid another DISASTROUS night. With Gordon Hayward now out for six weeks, Jayson Tatum needs to be a significant piece in the Celtics offense. It’s one bad game and it’s bound to happen at some point. Is Tatum still a very good player? No doubt about it. So I don’t want to hear the trolls out there chastising Tatum for one bad game.
In Conclusion
We love to see Jayson Tatum taking responsibility for his actions. He had an off shooting game? He’s back in the gym the next morning getting some shots up. Old friend Isaiah Thomas and the Wizards come into town tomorrow. The Celtics should take care of business against the struggling Wizards. But, it wouldn’t hurt for Tatum to have a huge bounce back game.
