Not even two weeks after getting bounced from the ECF, Jaylen Brown has already started his off-season workouts. Today I found this video he posted onto his YouTube channel of him in the gym:
I’m assuming he’s doing some sort of series with multiple episodes, so I’m definitely going to be keeping up with this. He’s always been a gym rat, which is part of the reason why I loved when Danny Ainge took him in last years draft. I’m glad that other people are starting to come around to him now.
In 17.2 minutes last year, Brown averaged 6.6 points and 2.8 rebounds. Considering this roster might look very different next season, I have a feeling those minutes are going to jump, meaning those numbers will most likely jump as well. He showed steady improvement over the course of this year, and Brad Stevens appeared to trust having him on the court down the stretch of games, especially in the playoffs. I think there’s a real chance for him to become something special, especially if he keeps getting after it like this.
