Jarome Iginla’s Weather Station Appearance

Jarome Iginla, that name certainly rings a bell. The Hall of Famer, or as to Bruins fans – the player who decided to choose Pittsburgh over Boston last minute. And we remember the rest… Boston swept Pittsburgh during the Stanley Cup that year. No hard feelings though, the NHL legend joined the Bruins for a one-year contract the year after Boston fell to Chicago in the Finals.

Anyways… what has Iginla been up to these days? Earlier this year, he selected for the Hockey Hall of Fame. But besides that, he was interviewed a couple of days ago by a Boston news channel!

Iginla Weather Interview

Out of all the people for Boston News 25 to interview on a snowy rest stop! Jarome Iginla! After watching the video clip, it’s rather obvious that the news channel did not recognize the retired NHL superstar. However, if it was Zdeno Chara, then maybe the news station would recognize the 6’9” player.

Iginla was a great sport about the interview and made a lighthearted comment about the snow. He jokingly said he enjoys the winter but the snow might be a little too much.

Iginla Not the First to be Interviewed by a News Station

Don’t blame the news anchor! Not everyone can recognize these professional athletes. Just watch below as other athletes were interviewed.

Klay Thompson

Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson said he was glad he was able to contribute as an active citizen and give his opinion on the dangers of scaffolding. He said the interviewer did not recognize him and it was “nice” and she was very professional.

Adrian Peterson

Detriot Lions’ Adrian Peterson gave a lively interview about roadrage. He urges his family to avoid any type of roadrage when they are driving around. Peterson says your life is too short to be on a highway trying to speed. Good advice!
