How Can You Not Love Brock Holt?
The Red Sox season ended officially yesterday afternoon with a walk-off win against the Baltimore Orioles. Now, all of the off-season questions will start piling into the organization. Who becomes the new GM? Will J.D. Martinez stay or go? Could the Red Sox do the unthinkable and trade Mookie Betts? There are a lot of questions the Red Sox will need to answer this off-season. One question people might forget about is what will happen with Red Sox utility player Brock Holt? When Holt isn’t producing on the field, he is winning the hearts of Red Sox nation off of the field.
Holt After The Game Last Night
Brock Holt gave away all of his bats after Game 162 last night.
What a guy.

Holt literally was handing out bats to fans after the game last night. What a world we are living in currently! It’s no secret that Holt has become a fan favorite since he arrived in 2013. Actions such as the bat giveaway and all of the work he’s done for the Jimmy Fund are just a few ways to win Red Sox nation’s heart. Holt has been a “glue guy” in the clubhouse. He also pulled his weight at the plate, hitting .297 this season. The sad part of it all is that this could have been Brock Holt’s last season in a Red Sox uniform.
In Conclusion
Brock Holt is a loved man in Boston. He’s been through it all with the Red Sox. He was there for the two World Series titles in 2013 and 2018. He was there for the last place finishes in 2014 and 2015. Holt was a part of the 2016 and 2017 teams that could barely compete in the ALDS. We’ve loved Brock Holt then and we will continue to love him no matter what life decision he makes next. For now, we can only hope and pray that the Red Sox do the right thing and bring back Holt by any means necessary. Some people think he could very well be gone already.

Me personally? I think he finds his way back somehow and someway. Whatever happens, we all love and appreciate Brock Holt for being around through it all!
