Is the NBA HORSE Tournament Worth a Watch?
Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and the NBA will be hosting a HORSE tournament. The event starts at 7 PM with current players and former players. All players will be participating in their homes, and all shots will be filmed.
The Matchups
It will be Trae Young vs. Chauncey Billups, Tamika Catchings vs. Mike Conley, Zach LaVine vs. Paul Pierce, and Chris Paul vs. Allie Quigley.
The event will give NBA fans something to watch during this nightmare of a pandemic. Although it will not be an exciting experience, the NBA is doing what they can to keep their fans engaged with the sport.
It has officially been one month since the NBA has suspended their season, and yes, it has been a struggle. No one could ever imagine this scenario, but the league had no other choice.
As mentioned, the tournament might not be the most exciting thing, but it is worth having something related to the game. Would I like more star-studded players? Yes, it would have been nice to see Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving, or LeBron James, but at least the NBA is trying to give their fans something to look forward too.
The NBA has no plans to come back anytime soon, so tuning into the HORSE tournament could be a worthwhile watch for NBA fans.
