HERE WE GO BABY!
Andrew Bynum is reportedly gearing up for his big NBA comeback, according to multiple sources. Last I remember, this guy was pretty close to falling off the deep end. I mean, just look at his hair after the Lakers traded him:
Bynum last played in 2014 for the Indiana Pacers. He also had stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and most notably, the Los Angeles Lakers. With LA, Bynum was an NBA All-Star and 2X NBA Champion.
Yesterday, footage dropped of his most recent workout, and it honestly doesn’t look THAT bad:

I see nothing special from his workout video, but I’m sure he winds up on someone’s roster one way or another at some point this season. Why? Even though he hasn’t played in 4 years, he looks to be in decent shape. He is also still fairly young, being just 30 years old.
I think there are plenty of teams in the NBA who have centers who are arguably worse than Bynum on their rosters right now. Would I want my team to sign the guy? Probably not. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone kick the tires and see what he has left in the tank at some point this season. He might’ve looked washed with the Pacers, but maybe this new found motivation will give him that spark he needs to be an effective basketball player again. Either way, I’m rooting for the big guy.
