Is a David Krejci return to the Bruins a possibility?
A return of former Bruins center David Krejci has been an off and on topic of discussion since he departed from Boston. The 36-year-old center uprooted his family and moved to his home country of the Czech Republic before the start of last season. He signed with HC Olomouc of the Czech Extraliga and recently, participating in the IIHF World Championships for team Czechia with current Bruin David Pastrnak.
After securing bronze in the World Tournament, a video of David Krejci surfaced:

Followed shortly by a statement from David Krejci posted by his current hockey club HC Olomouc:
"Dnes odlétám do USA, dám si cestou ještě jedno pivko na oslavu bronzu a pak budu v klidu přemýšlet, co dál. Času je dost a možností spousta, z nichž jedna velmi reálná je i pokračování v dresu Olomouce."

Could Krejci return to the Bruins?
Krejci’s departure from the Bruins was certainly a surprise to many. The team has seemingly recognized the 2011 core’s window is closing and have worked to add to this current roster. Replacing David Krejci, who scored 44 points in 51 games for the Bruins prior to leaving, is no easy task. Krejci’s presence was deeply missed both in the regular season and playoffs. A return to the black and gold is very much a possibility-though is it likely? Only Krejci and his family, and maybe David Pastrnak, know that.
Reading through the tea leaves with Krejci
The video above has certainly generated a buzz throughout Bruins media this week. A solid trolling job executed by Pastrnak and Krejci both. Then came the statement by HC Olomouc right on the heels of the video which left things open ended on all fronts. Optimism is in the air, and one cannot help but be hopeful there may be a reunion soon. For now, reports have confirmed that Krejci has returned to the US for the time being.
