Into the Triangle Episode 36: The Bye-Bye Episode

Jared, Zach and I are back with another episode of the Into the Triangle podcast. If you’re looking for three Red Sox fans who have roller coaster emotions for this Red Sox team, then you have come to the right place. This week, we were saying goodbye to a lot of Red Sox players. So it was only fitting that the name of our 36th episode was indeed the bye-bye episode. Let’s get into, shall we?

Topics Covered This Week

Like I mentioned in the little intro paragraph, there was a lot of saying goodbye in this particular episode. The first person we’re saying goodbye to is Andrew Benintendi. The outfielder with the incredibly awesome long hair has found his way to the Kansas City Royals in a three team trade. The three of us get into how we feel about the trade, how does it affect the team in the future, and are we happy with Chaim Bloom doing his thing? We then get into a mini discussion about Dustin Pedroia. He announced his retirement recently and we’re sad as Red Sox fans, naturally. We each share good memories of Pedroia. Thanks for all of the good times and bad Pedey! Finally, could Michael Chavis be on the move? With all of these trades Bloom is making, it might make sense to try to get more prospects for Chavis, right? We get into where Chavis could go, what the Red Sox could reasonably get for him, and much more!
