Into the Triangle Episode 34: Corey Kluber to the Yankees, Andrew Benintendi on the Way Out, and Rafael Devers Signs Arbitration Deal

It’s another episode of Into the Triangle, the best Red Sox podcast that gives fair takes and still throws jabs at the Yankees! We’re back with another episode as the Red Sox continue to let free agents just fly by. Here’s a lowdown of this week’s episode.

Topics This Episode

We start off with some unfortunate news…Corey Kluber signs with the New York Yankees. Yeah, those Yankees! I get so mad that I got into a 3-5 minute tirade about how the Red Sox whiffed on Kluber and why they just can’t seem to sign ANYONE! After that, Jared and Zach get into their perspectives on Kluber and what the Red Sox can do from this moment moving forward. Then there’s some discussions on Andrew Benintendi. It’s reported that Benintendi could be the next Red Sox to be traded. We get into what this means for the Red Sox outfield moving forward and speculate who could come in to replace the left-handed hitting outfielder. Finally, Rafael Devers. He signed a one year deal to avoid arbitration. Could it be a good thing for the Red Sox moving forward? Does this mean he’ll actually stay with the Red Sox for the long haul? You definitely don’t want to miss our opinions on this!
