HUGE Changes to Survivor Series champion vs champion matches following SmackDown Live

SmackDown Live last night was an absolute doozy. After Becky Lynch and the SmackDown women’s roster took to the women on RAW, she came out of that tussle covered in her own blood, looking like a barbarian.

However, it was at the cost of her match against Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Survivor Series, because a stiff blow from Nia Jax caused her to suffer a broken face according to WWE. And boy, the WWE Universe is not happy with Nia Jax. Rightfully so, in my own personal opinion, as this is the 5th person this year that she’s assisted in causing an injury, only now there was a LOT more at stake. This thwarted not only a massive dream match, but probably the strongest run that Becky Lynch has been on in her entire career, and probably most popular to boot. Just look at this footage:

Becky showed up with a fierce bruised left side of her face to hand pick the new opponent that will be facing Ronda on Sunday at Survivor Series. To nobody’s surprise, she chose Charlotte Flair to be the one to get the job done. So Sunday, it’ll be Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey, and I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t a dream match in itself. And I’m sure it’ll be one of the best matches that night.

Now onto more news today you didn’t see coming:

AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan had another match this week for the WWE title, and this time, Daniel Bryan won himself the WWE championship, thus ending one of the longest WWE title runs of all time and changing the main event of Survivor Series. Now the WWE Champion vs Universal Championship match will be Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar. Another match that has never happened.

I have to admit, I was so stoked to see AJ vs Brock round 2, but this has me flabbergasted. I thought AJ would have held the title until Wrestlemania, at least breaking CM Punk’s long withstanding 434 title reign, but instead, the title changed hands right before a huge match, into an even bigger match. What a timeline we’re in right now.

I may post a lot about the negatives in WWE, but boy this show has shaped up to be something truly special. Including the 2 matches I mentioned above along with US Champ Shinsuke Nakamura vs IC Champ Seth Rollins, we have 3 singles matches that all qualify as dream matches. Check out Survivor Series this Sunday. You seriously won’t want to miss this one.
