The debut of CM Punk tonight might be the biggest debut in pro wrestling in decades. It legitimately rivals the night Chris Jericho made his debut for WWE back on August 9, 1999.
The crowd and the energy gave viewers at home and around the world goosebumps. The second the show opened and they panned the crowd and In Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality” hit, the wrestling world marked out.
I haven’t marked out that hard since Seth Rollins winning the WWE title at WrestleMania.
CM Punk delivered an amazing promo in the middle of the squared circle. He then called out Darby Allen for All Out in Chicago.
